With Needles or Without? Read on…

Acupuncture is similar to Chiropractic in that both forms of healing are natural and they both work to remove any interference that may be preventing the body from working properly.  If the body is functioning properly, it will actually heal itself.

Chinese Medicine has known this concept for thousands of years and has been using Acupuncture as a main form of health care for that much longer.  The reason is simple: It is effective and works!

When someone thinks of what makes up the human body, the words: bones, muscles, and organs come to mind.  On a smaller level, the terms: cells and atoms arise.  Taking this concept one step further and to the root of what holds the body together, we discover the term: ENERGY.  It is energy and energy fields that hold all the tiny little cells and atoms together and this is the basis of acupuncture.

Within the body there are meridians in which the energy flows and if in proper health, the meridians will be in balance from the right side to the left side of the body and from the upper half to the lower half of the body.  At Walk Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center, Digital Meridian Imaging is performed with the newest of technology and you will be able to visualize the energy balance in your body.  Dr. Walk will use this technology along with his expertise to develop the most effective Acupuncture plan just for you.

Scared of needles?  Don’t worry.  At Walk Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center, Dr. Walk offers acupuncture to his patients by microcurrent stimulation, acupressure, acupatches, cold laser, and or with needles.  The needles used for Acupuncture treatments are very tiny and often times the patient will not even feel the needle.  Needle or no needle, Acupuncture can help you regain health and enjoyment in your life!
